Thank you's

I absolutely love my job and it's a relatively new one for me. My previous life was very different, but that's another story. It's immensely satisfying when you see a day you have planned come together. You share laughter and tears with your clients, a cliche I know, I always cry at weddings, I'm just a hopeless romantic. This may be one of the reasons I decided to do this for a living. I really couldn't think of a job that brings more job satisfaction than planning probably the most important day in someone's life. I never take that responsibility lightly.

You don't do the job to be thanked but I can't tell you how good you feel when clients take the time to email or even send you a quick text to say thank you for what you have done

Here are a few from this year......

Louise

I just wanted to say thank you very much for yesterday.  We had a super day! The whole day was perfect and all our guests loved the venue (none of them (except Steve's Dad) had been there before).

We thought the band were fantastic

We've had so many comments about how good the food was so I'll be sure to drop Justin and Angie a line to let them know.

Thank you

Katie and Steve

Just a little message to say thank you for making our dream come true. I knew i loved Creeksea, but wow yesterday it took my breath away. You made everything run sooo smoothly and I am forever grateful

Hi Louise
I hope you're well?
Just wanted to say thank you for everything in the run up to the wedding and on the day itself. You've been a great help and support and we're incredibly calming on the day!  All of the staff at Creeksea we're fantastic and we've had the most amazing comments with regards to the venue and the attentiveness of all involved. If you could please pass on our thanks! Quite a number of our guests are now planning long weekends in the barns, when we're next there we'll be sure to drop by on the off chance we may get to see you and thank you in person!
The ever grateful  Jag & Neal x

The Wedding Season so far...

Weddings are in full flow at the moment, we call it silly season for a reason as there is always so much to do. The year has been brilliant so far, I have planned weddings in Essex, Buckinghamshire and West Sussex. Later in the year I'll be planning them in Hertfordshire, South London, Central London and I'm delighted that a couple of them will be near home, in Essex. I have worked with some unbelievable suppliers and some fabulous clients. Here are just a few of my favourite pictures of the year so far. More to come......

A Buckinghamshire Wedding

What can I say about this wedding but awesome, from my clients, to the venue to the unbelievable suppliers, to the day itself. This was one fabulous wedding, all the brides vision and as I always say, I just make it happen and it did. Even the torrential rain stopped an hour before the ceremony to allow the gorgeous bride to walk up the drive way to the church with dad and her bridal party.
The setting for the wedding was the beautiful Nether Winchendon House, and I have to say I couldn't have worked with a more gracious and helpful owner in Georgianna. I have never worked with a venue owner who went above and beyond like this to make it the most special day. It was a big wedding, 230 guests in two marquees, which in itself brings loads of logistical issues. A ceremony that was screened live to the venue from the church because the church was too small for all of the guests. There were twenty five children that needed entertaining, three sets of musicians, two caterers, just loads of suppliers who worked so hard to make this the day that it was, a perfect English country wedding.
The incredible images you see below are from the immensely talented Laura Babb www.babbphoto.com There are loads on the main website so do have a look.

A Gorgeous Sussex Wedding

My clients come from all over the UK and now all over the world! I had the pleasure of helping plan the very English wedding of Sue and Stephen over a period of 9 months across the Atlantic. Sue and Stephen both live in New York, although Sue hails from the UK and the couple decided they wanted to have their wedding near Sues parents in Sussex. It was a beautiful and very English affair, even though half of the guests were from the States.
They chose a gorgeous pub in the village of East Lavant and the church was literally a 500 yards from the pub. A smallish affair with 55 guests, who were treated to the very best local food and drink that Sussex had on offer. We had some great suppliers working on the wedding and it was a relaxed, fun day that reminded me why I plan weddings for a living, there really isn't a better job in the world.
Here are a few of my pics from the day but the official photographs from the wonderful Guy Collier are on the main website and if you are looking for a great wedding photographer you should look him up www.guycollierphotography.com
