As we move swiftly into the Autumn I started thinking about things to enhance your Autumn wedding in Hertfordshire. I got married in the Autumn, I love the fact that you can have a beautiful sunny day, with a chill in the air and the colours are so amazing. That was the reason I choose October to marry, that and the fact we wanted to see New England in the fall for our honeymoon. Believe me when I say it was amazing.

I am currently sourcing lots of different chairs for wedding for next year. There are so many to choose from and they will all give a totally different look to your wedding in Essex. If the venue you have chosen doesn't have great chairs, you could cover them. I have to say I am not a big fan of chair covers but it's a very personal thing and there are some venues when you need to have them because the decor in the room needs them! A Hertfordshire Wedding

Back in early May I had the pleasure or co ordinating on the day, Michelle and Toby's wedding. I don't do many on the day co ordinations but this was a lovely one, not only were Michelle and Toby great to work with but the photographer was Julia West from Julia and You and definitely one of the very best I have worked with.
Whilst not knowing a great deal about wedding photography, I do know what I like and as a wedding planner in Hertfordshire, it is really interesting how you gravitate to certain styles of wedding photography, based on the style of weddings you plan Here are some of Julia's beautiful images of the day.

Thank you's

I absolutely love my job and it's a relatively new one for me. My previous life was very different, but that's another story. It's immensely satisfying when you see a day you have planned come together. You share laughter and tears with your clients, a cliche I know, I always cry at weddings, I'm just a hopeless romantic. This may be one of the reasons I decided to do this for a living. I really couldn't think of a job that brings more job satisfaction than planning probably the most important day in someone's life. I never take that responsibility lightly.

You don't do the job to be thanked but I can't tell you how good you feel when clients take the time to email or even send you a quick text to say thank you for what you have done

Just wanted to say thank you for everything in the run up to the wedding and on the day itself. You've been a great help and support and we're incredibly calming on the day!  All of the staff at Creeksea we're fantastic and we've had the most amazing comments with regards to the venue and the attentiveness of all involved. If you could please pass on our thanks! Quite a number of our guests are now planning long weekends in the barns, when we're next there we'll be sure to drop by on the off chance we may get to see you and thank you in person!

The Wedding Season so far...

Weddings are in full flow at the moment, we call it silly season for a reason as there is always so much to do. The year has been brilliant so far, I have planned weddings in Essex, Buckinghamshire and West Sussex. Later in the year I'll be planning them in Hertfordshire, South London, Central London and I'm delighted that a couple of them will be near home, in Essex. Wedding Planner Hertfordshire - Thank you

Earlier this month I co ordinated Michelle and Toby's wedding. They only hired me for my on the day wedding management in Hertsfordshire but I received this lovely email the day after the wedding
