A review of 2013

2013 saw my second year of trading and what an incredible year it has been. I completed five full plan weddings and have booked in some wonderful weddings across the South East for 2014.

I had a couple of marquee weddings over the summer, one on a farm and a very aeornautical wedding in Essex. There was an East London wedding in a church, plus a two day very chic London city wedding and finally a gorgeous Christmas Essex wedding at the stunning Leez priory.

Each wedding was totally unique and individual, which is exactly how it should be as I truely believe that a wedding should reflect a couple. I couldn't do my job without all the wonderful suppliers with whom I have worked with this year and the continuing support of UKAWP.

2014 will see not just my own business expand as I take on more clients but I'm also delighted to be co ordinating the weddings at the stunning Creeksea Place. If you are looking for a beautiful Essex wedding venue, then I urge you to take a look at this very magical place. It promises to be a very exciting year and one I'm very much looking forward to.

Here are some of my favourite shots of 2013. Happy new year everyone. Thank you to Laura Babb Photo, Ellie Gillard, Tom Hallida, Mathew Bishop and Tracy Williams

London meets Sweet Home Alabhama

I am planning a two day wedding celebration in London later this year for a bride who is from the deep south of America. At our consultation she gave me a great ananlogy for her wedding she wanted relaxed city chic meets Sweet Home Alabama, which made me laugh. It made me think of the film, which if you haven't seen it you really should. The chic New York City girl heading back to her home town of Alabama.

Just a few initial ideas that come to mind.
