Destination wedding St Lucia

Last year I was lucky enough to attend a wedding event on the Island of St Lucia as I have clients here in the UK who are getting married on this beautiful island.
You don't have to book your overseas wedding through a tour operator or even a wedding planner overseas. A lot of couples prefer to use a UK based planner to assist them with the wedding.
St Lucia is a very easy place for UK couples to get married and you are gauranteed the sunshine. if you are looking for a destination wedding planner based in the UK who knows about all the legalities of marrying overseas do get in touch.
Here is a little snippet of video from my trip.

Wedding in the Caribbean

Following on from my previous post about planning a wedding in the Caribbean. I thought you might like to have a look at some suitable locations should you be considering St Lucia.
St Lucia is the second most popular destination wedding location for UK couples and as a wedding planner I am now able to offer bespoke wedding planning to this beautiful Island. Lets start with Pigeon Island, which is located at the top of the Island and is a national park. There are severla spots to get married on Pigeon Island, below are the ruins where I was fortunate to attend a wedding whilst I was staying on the Island

Your Caribbean wedding

I had the pleasure of spending three days in the beautiful island of St Lucia. I know what you are thinking its a tough job. The St Lucian tourist board decided to lanch an annual wedding symposium.
Planners worldwide were invited to see the island to to see what a wonderful location for a wedding St Lucia is.
The interesting this for me as a wedding planner in Essex is that St Lucia offers couples a stunning location to marry and somewhere they can have a fabulous day at a fraction of the cost of a wedding here in the UK. The other interesting thing is that if you want your wedding in the Caribbean, you don't have to have a tour operator wedding or what the Yanks call a 'cookie cutter wedding'
As you know, if you read my blog or website I hate package weddings. Brides aren't packages and so should have the option of planning their day how they want it. Why shouldn't it be the same in the Caribbean. Well it can and very soon Louise Perry Weddings will be offering bespoke wedding planning the Caribbean but specialising in St Lucia and we won't be offering packages.
I took millions of photos so plenty of blogs on the way but here are just a handful of shots of the gorgeous island. Personally I can't wait to go back.
